House of the Good Shepherd evaluates program processes, implementation and effectiveness:

(1) when a family arrives
(2) throughout the course of their stay, and
(3) after the family has moved on to independent living.

Initial measurements and evaluations are made through our Admission form, Orientation Task form, Learning Center Assessment, Domestic Violence Assessment, Domestic Violence Pre-test, Substance Abuse Assessment, Beck Depression Inventory, and Personal Healing and Recovery Plan.

While residents are participating in our program, evaluation of both program effectiveness and the resident’s individual goals continues through Orientation Review, Goal Setting, Learning Center Evaluation, budgeting and money management records, Mother’s Checklist, Staff Checklist, and monthly Case Conferences.
